19 Gallon Onion-Head Copper Pot Still

When a 4 or 8 gallon pot no longer keeps up with your ambitions, the 19 gallon onion-head still steps in. The classic rounded onion cap is a centuries-old design that lets vapor expand and settle gently, giving you a full-bodied, characterful spirit prized for whiskey and aged rum.

The body is raised entirely from 100% copper, a minimum of 1.0 mm thick to take repeated heat cycles without fatigue. Beyond its old-world looks, that copper pulls sulfides out of the vapor stream, so even a big charge comes off the still tasting clean rather than eggy or sharp.

Joints are sealed with lead-free tin-silver solder rather than questionable brass fittings, keeping the entire vapor path safe for consumable spirits. You receive the pot, onion-head cap, swan neck and a condenser fitted with a thermometer port, ready to fire.
